Church Membership
Some people ask, "What does it mean to be a member of Glasgow Baptist Church?" We acccept as members those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and have been baptized by immersion. Memberhip in the church is an important step beyond salvation and baptism.
To be a member of Glasgow Baptist Church means:

I have a pattern of weekly participation in our worship services.

I am involved with a small group of growing Christians.

I use my gifts, talents, and resources to support the ministry of my church.
We receive members in the following ways:

Profession of Faith and Baptism - for those making first time decisions to receive Christ, follow Him in baptism and join Glasgow Baptist Church.

Transfer of Letter - If you belong to a sister Baptist church, we will be happy to write and ask that your church letter be transferred to Glasgow Baptist.

Statement of Faith - If you come from another denomination and as a profession of your faith, have been immersion baptized, you can join Glasgow Baptist by statement of your faith in Christ.
